Why We Started
Alaska Painting Plus was founded by a working painter who got tired of watching homeowners get burned by contractors who overpromised, underdelivered, and disappeared when problems came up. We started with a simple idea: treat every project like it's our own home, use the best materials available, and stand behind the work.
Over the years we've grown from a one-truck operation to a full crew handling everything from single-room touch-ups to large commercial projects — but the standard hasn't changed. Every job gets the same prep, the same materials, and the same attention to detail whether it's a $400 drywall patch or a $40,000 commercial repaint.
We're Alaska contractors. We understand freeze-thaw cycles, moisture issues, and what it takes for paint and coatings to hold up through an Anchorage winter. That knowledge is built into how we work — from the products we specify to the time of year we schedule exterior projects.
